Board Members

Michael A. Moné, B.S., R.Ph., J.D., of Powell, Ohio, is the Board President for FY 2017. He is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was re-appointed by Governor Kasich in 2014, with his second term ending on June 30, 2018. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy – 1981, with a B.S. in Pharmacy - and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law – 1985. His professional practice of pharmacy has included 30 years in Community, 6 years in Chain and 4 years in Veteran's Administration. He is currently employed as the Assistant General Counsel Regulatory for Cardinal Health. Mr. Moné is a member of the following professional associations: American Pharmacists Association; Ohio Pharmacists Association; National Association of Boards of Pharmacy; and Florida Pharmacy Association. He is also the recipient of the following awards: American Pharmacists Association Fellow, Sidney Simkowitz Pharmacy Involvement Award and Linwood Tice Friend of APhA- ASP Award.


Megan E. Marchal, Pharm.D., R.Ph., of Dublin, Ohio, is the Board Vice President for FY 2017. She is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was appointed by Governor John R. Kasich in 2013 for her first term ending on June 30, 2017. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo - 2008, with a Doctor of Pharmacy. She has had 12 years in the professional practice of Chain Pharmacy and is currently the Clinical and Educational Outreach Coordinator with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy. Her professional association memberships include: Academy of Pharmacy of Central Ohio (APCO), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA), American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. She is a Past President of the Academy of Pharmacy of Central Ohio and was a District 9 Trustee for the Ohio Pharmacists Association.


Joshua M. Cox, Pharm.D, BCPS, R.Ph., of Beavercreek, Ohio, is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was appointed by Governor John R. Kasich in 2016, with his first term ending on June 30, 2018. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, and from the University of Florida with a Doctor of Pharmacy. He has over 15 years of professional experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager and Pain Management Consultant. He is currently the Director of Pharmacy Services at the Dayton Physicians Network in Kettering, Ohio.


Curtis L. Passafume, Jr. MBA, R.Ph., of Hilliard, Ohio, currently serves as the System Vice President for Pharmacy Services for OhioHealth. He is the Chief Pharmacy Officer responsible for strategic, fiscal and operational success for pharmacy services across 12 acute care hospitals and 34 ambulatory care sites. Mr. Passafume’s professional association memberships include: American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP), Central Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (COSHP), Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is currently an adjunct faculty member at The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy and an instructor in the Health System Pharmacy Administration (HSPA) residency program as well as the Residency Program Director for the OhioHealth HSPA residency programs. He is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Pharmacy and obtained his MBA in Healthcare Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.


Jennifer M. Rudell, R.Ph., of Liberty Township, Ohio is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was appointed by Governor John R. Kasich with her first term ending June 30, 2018. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Her professional practice has been in community pharmacy with CVS/Health for over 23 years. She is currently a Pharmacy Supervisor for CVS/Health in the Dayton, Ohio market. Ms. Rudell is a member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association and the Butler County Pharmacists Association.


Fred M. Weaver, B.S., R.Ph., of Elyria, Ohio, is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was re-appointed by Governor John R. Kasich in 2016, with his second term ending June 29, 2020. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. His professional practice of pharmacy has included a variety of practice settings including health system outpatient pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, mail order, and a correctional institution. He currently is a Pharmacy Manager for Giant Eagle Pharmacy where he has practiced for 14 years. Mr. Weaver is a member of the following professional associations: Ohio Pharmacists Association, American Pharmacists Association, and the Northern Ohio Academy of Pharmacy.


Shawn C. Wilt, R.Ph., of Toledo, Ohio, is a community pharmacist who currently serves as a Pharmacy Specialist for Meijer. At Meijer, Mr. Wilt trains pharmacists on the use of motivational interviewing and health screenings to promote positive health outcomes for patients. He is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations and rules. Prior to joining Meijer, Mr. Wilt served as a Regional Vice President of Pharmacy at Rite-Aid where he successfully managed teams in the implementation of pharmacist immunization efforts, which led to significant gains in patient immunization rates. Mr. Wilt is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Michigan. He is a member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association and the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance.


Kilee S. Yarosh, B.S., R.Ph., of Jefferson, Ohio, is a Professional Pharmacist member of the board and was re-appointed by Governor John R. Kasich in 2016, with her second term ending June 29, 2020. She graduated from Duquesne University in 1997 with a B.S. in Pharmacy and from Lake Erie College in 2014 with a Master of Business Administration. Ms. Yarosh has had 2 years of professional practice in Retail Pharmacy, 2 years in Nuclear and 11 years in Hospital Pharmacy, currently employed at Trumbull Memorial Hospital as the Director of Pharmacy. Her professional association memberships include: the Ohio Pharmacists Association, Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists and American Society of Health- System Pharmacists.
