RENEWAL INFORMATION

Registered Pharmacy Technician renewal begins on January 31st. All applications must be submitted by March 31st. For more information about renewal and continuing education requirements please review the renewal guidance document here.

Certified Pharmacy Technician renewal will not begin until August 2024 . Renewal guidance will be emailed directly to certified technicians and posted here as the date approaches.

IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION IS A LEGAL TERM SIMILAR TO LICENSURE. WHILE ALL TECHNICIANS AND TRAINEES MUST REGISTER WITH THE BOARD, THEY MUST DETERMINE WHICH REGISTRATION CATEGORY (CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, REGISTERED TECHNICIAN OR TECHNICIAN TRAINEE) IS THE MOST APPROPRIATE.
